About Us

Scriptolutions was founded in 2005 by Arachno developer Lothar Scholz. It is a small, privately held company based in Beckum, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.

Our goal is to provide the most powerful and easy tool for anyone who needs to create and maintain programs written in script languages for productivity. Our customers range from one-time users who just need to write a simple script quickly and easily, to professional engineers in large workgroups who maintain complex programs as their primary function.

Our Promises To Our Customers

We promise you that our products go through extensive beta testing involving dozens of external and internal testers. We will not release our software until these testers are satisfied with the quality. We'll also make every effort to find problems during the early release period of our software.

We promise you that if serious bugs are reported in the current version of our software, we will not make you wait and pay for the next version to see them fixed. Fixing bugs in the current version has always higher priority then adding new features.

We promise you that we are honest about bugs in our products. After we successfully verified the existence of a bug, we will add it to our online bug tracking system so our customers know about it and can check what we fixed in the new version.

We promise you that we will build our software based on the needs of our customers. Please use the application built-in suggestion tool to give us a feedback about change and feature requests. Before we add critical features we enable our registered users to do an online voting if they like this feature or not and give you again a chance to propose alternatives.

We promise you that we will keep the software fast and compact. We have seen to much products that are extremely slow and bloated and are wasting your money because they always require state of the art hardware. We will always test our software on 2 year old hardware and optimize the speed until we are satisfied. But don't try this with our beta releases. They contain so much debugging code which helps us to keep our quality promise that we can only recommend them for high end computers.

We promise you that our products are always "system-friendly". This means it will not show any problems during installation, maintainance or uninstallation. We will never install shared DLL, ActiveX controls or other system files and nothing is stored outside the Arachno directory. We are not even storing anything in the registry. So there is no fear about any interfering with your system or other applications. And this makes your program simply to maintain. If you change your harddisk you can simply copy the Arachno directory from one place to another and everything is still working. The only exception to this rule is that under windows we store your registration and evaluation keys in a secret place. But we can garantee you that this will never be a problem to your system.

We promise you that always optimize the usability of our applications so that they are easy to learn and understand. This includes a well thought out and consistent behaviour and logically ordered user interface. We will focus more on function and handling then to hunt for the latest optical gimick of your operating system.
